Hello everyone,
My name is Linda and I am 41 years old. I live in BC and am just starting to consider a figure comp. I know little about it and dont know what comp I should aim for. I wouldnt mind something in BC, Alberta, or Toronto. How does it usually take to prepare for one of these? I just finished a few bfl challenges. Here is my profile on the bfl-tracker;

Hi…I’m thirty and am training for the May 2008 Novice Figure competition!! I have been working out since I was 17 and decided not to let anything stop me from competing this year! I attended the morning portion of the Nov. 3 Canadian Classic- amazing show -and from that day I started researching and planning for what it would take to compete. 12 weeks today- can’t wait!

Hello All:)
I am new to message forums so bear with me please.... I am Melissa Traynor 27 about 5 foot 8 and have been training for about 8 years now. I have has SEVERAL setbacks in my journey of life but this year it WILL be different. I am currently in training for the July 12 figure and look forward to meeting a lot of you and getting over my shyness! I am also training in Urban Krav Maga ( sooooo good!) and hopefully this doesn't cause me any setbacks in my training. I have a degree in Exercise Science and have been dabbling in personal training and fitness consulting for 6 or 7 years now. I am looking to not only compete for my first time but to do fitness, mma/fight gear modelling and promotions, do trade shows etc. for bikes and cars and so on.... Hmmm what else can I say to introduce myself without writing a novel??? check me out on facebook I guees

Hi Richard,
Thanks for stopping by the message forum. Nice to meet you. I think it is a great goal to compete in a natural bodybuilding competition. I wish you all the best and hope to see you on an IDFA stage someday.
