Lack of 'Fit' Knowledge?
We all know a Fit Healthy Lifestyle is very important. So why doesn't everyone live it. What is holding them back? Is it lack of knowledge? Motivation? Taking care of yourself is very important and how you take care of yourself will directly affect those who are close to you, such as your children (if this applies). Develop healthy habits that you can follow that are attainable. As they become a part of your lifestyle make it a goal to add other healthy lifestyle habits.
'I know this is important but what do I do?' First educate yourself through reading or hire a professional to make sure you are on track. A qualified Personal Trainer will ensure you are performing the exercises correctly, safely and efficiently. The other added benefit of a trainer is keeping you accountable. Many who are new to fitness find their biggest obstacle is making it a part of their daily routine. I believe it take at least 12 weeks to make a new activity a habit. Also, a Personal Trainer with knowledge about Nutrition is an added bonus. Not only can they help you with your exercise regimen they can also help you make better food choices and help educate you about healthy eating.
Simply put if you lack motivation and education a qualified Personal Trainer is the answer.
